Available for groups of 2 or more Villanova students. Located on the 3rd and 4th floors of Falvey Library. 

Booking Policies

• 2-hour time limit per booking
• Limit 2 room bookings per group per day
• Group study only (club meetings, classes, individual study, and interviews not permitted)
• Renewals not permitted

Rooms can be reserved up to 7 days in advance. Available during Service Hours.

Equipment

Group Study Rooms include the following equipment:

• TV Monitor
• HDMI Connector Cable
• Table and chairs
• Dry erase board
• WiFi Access

Check-In*

• Check in at the Falvey Library Service Desk at your reservation start time before proceeding to the study room.
•  2 group members must be present for check-in.

*Failure to check in 15 minutes after the start of the reservation will result in automatic cancellation. 

Book a Space

The Digital Scholarship Lab is designed to support Villanova faculty, students, and staff who are working on developing digital projects, or are interested in learning more about digital media, digital humanities, or data-intensive research and teaching.

The Lab offers an expanded range of software covering a variety of digital methods and tasks, including but not limited to geospatial mapping, data visualization, text and data mining, digitization, and multimodal publishing. Please consult our complete list of software available in the Digital Scholarship Lab for more information.

Located on the 2nd floor of Falvey Library in Room 218A, the Lab is equipped with four PC workstations, one high-performance Mac Pro workstation, one large Epson flatbed scanner, three Mac and three PC laptops that can be connected to docking stations and monitors in the Lab.

Note: The Epson Scanner must be used with the Mac Pro workstation. Our laptops are not available for check-out to patrons and may only be used in the Digital Scholarship Lab.

Bookings

The Digital Scholarship Lab will be open Wednesday through Friday for the entirety of the academic school year. Available by reservation only, patrons must reserve a specific computer to use in the Digital Scholarship Lab during its open hours. The lab will be open Wednesday through Friday from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm.
